Frequently Asked Questions

What are your fees?

Initial intake is $250 and is blocked for 1.5 hours.

Sessions are $120 per session (45 minutes).

I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots. If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to complete a financial aid form to see if you qualify.

What can I expect during the intake process?

The intake session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you in.

I’ll ask some questions to learn more about your current concerns, your history, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for our work.

From there, I will develop a treatment plan that includes specific goals, a general timeframe, some objectives, and interventions tailored to your needs. Throughout our work together, we will periodically check in to make sure we are on track and adjust as needed.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. You just come as you are. The goal is to begin building a foundation for our work together in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, I am able to accept HSA and can provide a Superbill for insurance reimbursement.

Many clients choose private pay to allow for greater flexibility, privacy, and a more personalized approach to care that is not limited by insurance requirements.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. All sessions are conducted online, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

What states do you work in?

I am licensed to provide counseling services in both North Carolina and South Carolina (soon Tennessee).

What types of therapy do you offer?

My work is trauma-informed and integrative, combining evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing with deeper, body-based and holistic practices.

This may include somatic awareness, nervous system work, and other approaches that support deeper emotional processing and lasting change.

What makes your approach different?

Many people come to therapy with insight into their patterns. They have googled, they have used Chat GBT, they have had other therapy sessions. However, they still feel stuck.

My work goes beyond insight alone, helping you understand and shift the deeper emotional, somatic, nervous system, and subconscious patterns that keep repeating.

Do you offer holistic or energy-based services?

Yes. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, I am able to integrate holistic approaches such as Reiki to support mind-body balance and an integrative deeper healing.

How do I know if this is the right fit for me?

If you’ve already done some work but still feel stuck in the same patterns, this approach may be a good fit.

I offer consultations to help you determine whether working together feels aligned for you.
